Tour de Kunisaki

Kunisaki’s quiet country roads through verdant countryside and aside the Seto Inland Sea are ideal for cycling and each year, over 2,500 cycle enthusiasts enter Oita’s largest cycling event, the Tour de Kunisaki. Held in early May each year since 2003, four courses of 160km, 95km, 75km and 20km cater for all abilities and ages. Application for entry must be made no later than early in the previous March and places are given on first come, first served basis.
