Dignified statues celebrating heroines and heroes, stateswomen and men, and local personages are…
Amanek Beppu Yula-Re’s appeal begins with its clean modern architectural lines, a cavernous reception and dining area, stylish guest rooms, and cohesive overall design; a chic evolution of the comfortable and practical hotels that have become common throughout much of Japan. But its trump cards are a roof-top heated infinity pool and bar, soaring views over Beppu, artwork by Taketa-based Hajime Nakatomi, one of Japan’s leading bamboo artists, and onsen hot spring baths.
Amanek Beppu Yula-Re is in easy walking distance of both Beppu’s railway and bus stations, and shopping and nightlife district making it an ideal location to both relax in and explore the city. The hotel encourages its guests to make the most of the surroundings and provides discounts at a wide range of local restaurants, cafes and bars. Note that although that onsen bathing is separated the infinity pool is mixed use. So, make sure to take along swimwear, which is required to be worn when using the latter.
